I had to go through the same thing when I couldn't get my Lexar card to work with my new computer. I traded emails with some guy named shamalbaloobombazamabigbang for a month before I was finally connected with a stateside rep. The Phillipines will be another hotbed of outsourced tech support. Companies like them because they won't have as strong of accents to Americans.
